This is my location recce for the poster I have included the details on so there are no problems and we could be contacted if there was any problems and we make sure that no problems do arise.

This is my December podcast that I have done by using the I show u software on the Mac computers, this is to track down all the work I have done so far on the blogger that month.

Research and planning- Magazine break down

The things that a magazine includes are:

• Masthead- the main title for the whole magazine and the main title too.
• slugline- a tagline that goes with the masthead and emphasises it.
• website- so you can visit their websites and find out about the editions.
• barcode- is the thing you scan in when you buy it from the shop.
• coverlines- give you the stories that you may be interested in to read inside the magazine.
• photos- without an image it wont be eye catching or attractive.
• price- depending on the price you will be able to tell when and how many days or weeks it takes for the new edition to come out.
• catchy slogan or phrase- this is to make the magazine seem interesting that the audience would want to read.

Research and planning- Poster break down

The things that are included on a poster:

•  Masthead- the main title of the whole poster of the film
• Production logo- the company logo that the film has been produced by.
• Distribution logo- the company logo that the film has been distributed by.
• Cast crew- the people involved in the film, the names of the people.
• Photo/image- the image or photo related to the film that has been made
• Release date- the release date that the film is coming out in, making people aware of the films release date.
• Steel tongs font- steel tongs font is used to write down names of people in the film and also other important information.

For our trailer me and my partner have thought about who we should choose and who we should not choose for the trailer, because after our first trailer shoot we have found out that the actors are not taking it very seriously for example using the right acting skills and facial expressions, however their were some actors who were doing really well, so we decided o pick less people and also picked the actors that would take it seriously.
The things that are crucial in our horror genre trailer is

• Body language
• Movement
• Acting skills
• Facial expressions
• Attitudes

This is the risk assessment for the magazine same like the poster this identifies that there should not be any risks when filming and so they don't occur you would have to fill his in before you do your filming so that we are aware of what things could happen.

This is the magazine location recce to identify that there are no problems if there were the details are up dated so they can give a ring.

This is an I show u video of me working on the trailer it shows me working on the sound, and the editing, Mise-en-scene and cinematography with my partner.

Research and planning- Make up test shots of the ghost

Here is a make up test shot of the ghost as you can see this photo is very clear but the thing I don't like about it is that the face is too bright.

I really like the facial expression that is being made here, but the background with the switch looks very odd.
I like this too but this also has a bright face because of the flash of the camera that has been used.
 This is not really good as you can see the photo is very blurry, so I wont be able to use this for my magazine.

I have thought about what to use as the photo of my magazine, so I think I will be using at least one of these photos.

Research and planning- Make up test shots of Faith

 These are the make up test shots of Faith as she is the main actor of the trailer that we are making, so she has to look good but until the end where she gets hurt by the psycho.
Here is a whole shot of her face, she is wearing foundation.

 This is her lips where she is wearing lip gloss to make her self seem like the best and only the best and prettiest actor.

This is a shot of her eye where she is wearing eye shadow to make her eyes stand out to make her look good in the acting and make her look like the main character in the film trailer.

Research and planning- SLR cinematography test shots

 These are cinematography test shots just to test that the shots we use are going to come out looking good.
This is a mid shot showing the body from the persons tummy to the top. This shot is good to use when talking to somebody else.

 This is an over the shoulder shot as it is over the shoulder and it is good to use to show facial expressions.

 This is a long shot as it shows the full body, this is good for showing where the person/actor is placed can show the surrounding location of where that person is.

This is a close up shot of the face, this can be used for two things such as showing facial expressions or even when the person is talking.

This is my third poster which I have created to use in my poster.

Research and planning- Distribution logo change

This is my distribution logo that i did for our horror genre trailer.We put this logo at the beginning of the trailer and when it came to showing the trailer to the class and getting feedback, some of the students in the class suggested that the distribution logo will look better with a black background and when I changed this I thought it looked actually much better than before. Now here is a screenshot of the distribution logo with a black background.
